August 29, 2020 was nothing short of a dream. After a year of planning through a pandemic, Cameron and I could not have asked for a better celebration of God’s love and His work in our relationship. We are officially Mr. and Mrs. Smith! Our biggest dream for our wedding day was to show God to our loved ones through our ceremony and commitment to each other and that is exactly what happened. We have loved every minute of the last month of marriage and looking back on our wedding day brings even more joy and happiness.

We are so thankful to our families who supported and encouraged and, most of all, looked to God for guidance for our day. Not only was our wedding a celebration of uniting two families; it was a beautiful thing to see such unity even before the wedding day. I could not be more grateful to be a member of our wonderful new Evans/Eisel/Smith family.

Our Wedding Day Photos – We Laugh We Love

I am so excited to reveal our wedding photos. Our photographer, Justin Muir of We Laugh We Love is and was an absolute professional for our day. As I said in my previous post of our engagement photos, Justin’s full-time line of work is portrait photography and he has an incredible understanding of natural lighting. He hustled so hard to get every last sliver of light on our wedding day, even through the extreme humidity and evening thunderstorms. He and his second shooter, Jessica, captured everything we wanted in the most beautiful way. We could not be happier with our photos.

As there are hundreds of photos to comb through, I am sharing a tiny selection of my favorites from getting ready, to our ceremony and portraits of Cameron and I for now. I will be posting more blog posts soon that include more decor detail photos and a look into our reception tent design. Enjoy these gems 🙂

Springton Manor Farm & Queen of Hearts Catering

We couldn’t have done it without the support, organization, and determination of Springton Manor Farm and Queen of Hearts Catering to open and create a safe environment for their couples following PA state guidelines. They did everything possible to make us and our guests feel safe and still enjoy coming together to celebrate. Our wedding coordinator, Jenny, was so encouraging and positive throughout the pandemic and the weather forecast. On our rehearsal night, it absolutely downpoured. She took me aside and asked me what I wanted for our wedding the next day given impending thunderstorms. I told her I really wanted everything to be outside if possible and she said, ‘done’. Even with storms up to the start of our ceremony, she kept everything rolling with our original plan.

The property was kept absolutely gorgeous, as seen in the photos. I especially loved the tall flower gardens lining the tent and the garden pathways for photos with the family. It was the perfect place for guests to stroll around and take in the beauty as the sun set over the mountains. We took our photos together in the gorgeous tall flower fields by the side of the tent, which was the perfect backdrop for our portraits. The firepits were fired up for the later hours of the evening for guests to sit back and relax in the countryside.

Queen of Hearts served the most delicious hors d’oeuvres and everyone raved about the amazing dinner options. I personally devoured the mashed potatoes and steak 🙂 The staff was so sweet and attentive to us as a couple. We had our own server follow us with snacks, water, and drinks to make sure we didn’t miss out. I also loved how they met guests at the back of the ceremony with trays of red and white wine to get the party started.

And I can’t forget to list out each of our vendors that made our day a wonderful success:
