Memorial Day weekend is just around the corner and it’s time to get those bathing suits and cover ups out from storage. My best friends and all of our guys are going to Cape May, NJ next weekend, and although it won’t be beach weather yet, its truly getting me excited for those flowy beach outfits ahead. We had a bit of a fakeout earlier in the spring with 80 degree days and now it’s back to chilly, so all of my new summer pieces have just been waiting for their debut.
When it comes to bathing suit cover ups, I’m very particular. It’s hard to imagine what 95 degrees feels like when we are averaging 60 every day. But can you picture one of those hot summer days where everything is sticking to you and your sunscreen is melting down your face? Ok yea that’s my nightmare. Thus the reason I need flowy and light bathing suit cover ups to make the trek to the beach. My favorite thing to wear is an oversized button down linen shirt or a light cotton romper…. short sleeves all the way!
I’ve rounded up some of the cutest cover ups I have found online and some I have purchased for myself. Stock up now before spring sales wipe them all out!
