Having grown up outside of Philadelphia, I sometimes feel as though I have exhausted all the things to do in the area. Of course there are always new restaurants to try, but activities can be hard to come by when you are trying to plan a fun weekend with your favorite person, or your girlfriends. For Philadelphia festivals, pop-ups, and events you can always check out www.uwishunu.com. If you’re looking for an easy date night/day idea, here are some of my favorite date combos from around the city.
For the Sunday-Kinda-Love Couple
Sunday Brunch at The Bishops Collar + The Philadelphia Museum of Art or Barnes Museum
Tapas in the Garden Room at Harp & Crown + A Walk down Addison Street at 17th to see the Lights at Night
For the Wannabe-Hipster Couple
Go for a Hunt at the Bulk Vintage Warehouse + Split Cheesesteaks from Pat’s and Geno’s to Compare (Classic Philly)
For the Nightlife-Loving-Foodie Couple
Cam and I just went to Harp & Crown for our anniversary and I was blown away. I’m totally a sucker for plants, gallery walls, and speakeasies and they’ve got all three.
Have a fun date night and let me know what your favorite activity was!
p.s. I’ve got a lot more Philly secrets up my sleeve, so if you’re planning a visit, let me know!
